Arts Schools Network (ASN) and Creative Generation are pleased to continue collaborating on the production of ASN’s annual conference being hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from October 25-28, 2022.
Previously, ASN and Creative Generation have collaborated on the production of the 2020 virtual conference, the 2021 annual conference in Chicago, and numerous other professional development events, including the pilot year of the Arts & Cultural Education Leadership Certificate program. This continued collaboration stems from both organizations’ commitment to ongoing professional learning for arts school leaders and the need for rapid innovation in addressing the changing professional circumstances for these leaders.
“We understand the power of convening and the necessity of knowledge sharing to improve the organizational practices, educational pedagogies, and pathways to leadership in arts schools,” said Jeff M. Poulin, managing director of Creative Generation. “We, at Creative Generation, are thrilled to continue to collaborate with ASN – one of our longest standing collaborators - to produce high-quality professional learning experiences for their members across the country and around the world.”
Creative Generation was founded in April 2019 as a research initiative and has grown its work throughout the United States and around the world. Through pioneering research in the arts and cultural education field – and the relentless support of arts and cultural educators in their work to cultivate the creative capabilities of young people – the organization regularly leads professional learning initiatives through its Academy for Creative Leadership.
The ASN conferences annually brings together the innovative, informative, and inquisitive arts school leaders to network, share, learn, and recognize excellence among their peers.
